Digital Media Academy is proud to host international groups for one or multi-week programs at universities across the US and Canada. Students have the opportunity to commute or stay on campus and participate in STEM education experiences that integrate design thinking methodology into the curriculum.
DMA programs are cultural immersion experiences, blending classroom instruction, project-based learning, and excursions in the local community.
Our amazing instructional staff sets us apart from other programs. DMA’s instructors include highly respected tech educators, accomplished artists and talented industry professionals who have a passion for teaching.
Choose from over 50 STEM courses across six topics or create your own custom curriculum
Inspired by the Stanford d.school, this methodology encourages students to lead with empathy, design and iterate within structure, and work collaboratively to solve real-world problems.
Student projects have a real-world connection, making learning more tangible, memorable, and easy to apply long after our courses are over.
DMA puts students in the driver’s seat – giving them clearly defined roles and parameters as they work together to iterate, test, and refine projects.
Every course registration includes:
40 hours of instruction (Monday through Friday, 9-5)
Access to materials and software
Dedicated Apple computer to use for the week
Certificate of Completion at the end of the week
Final Project and project storage
