Spanish Translation Disclaimer
The Spanish version of this website is a translation of the original in English for information purposes only. In case of a discrepancy, the English original will prevail.
This Agreement is governed in accordance with the laws of British Columbia, Canada.
In the event of a conflict between the student and the educational institution, EPI can only advise the student of the institution’s applicable policy or policies and offer to mediate the issue or issues, but the final resolution of the conflict will be directly between the student and the educational institution.
Registration, Admission and Payment Policies
EPI, as the third party representative of educational institutions, will provide a prospective student with the policies of the chosen educational institution. EPI will use its best efforts to review with and explain the institution’s policies to the student, but does not guarantee admission. Admission is solely at the discretion of an educational institution and is based on the admission criteria provided by it. Most payments must be made directly to the educational institution in accordance with its policies.
In the event EPI receives monies from a student as part of an application for admission to an educational institution, the monies must be remitted by the student to EPI at least fourteen days prior to the payment deadlines of the institution in order to ensure timely receipt of payment by the institution.
There will be no exceptions to payment deadlines and payment does not guarantee acceptance by an institution. Acceptance is only confirmed when the educational institution has provided its acceptance letter. In the event the institution does not accept the student, any monies paid to the institution will be returned, subject to any provisions to the contrary in the institution’s application forms and information.
EPI will be copied on all institution acceptance letters in order to facilitate any long-distance challenges the students may face such as the issuance of visas. EPI will not, however, take responsibility on behalf of the institution if the institution’s acceptance letter is delayed.
Reference to Employment or Income eligibility in Canada
EPI does not warrant, represent or guarantee an employment position, income from any source or eligibility for a work permit to any student or prospective student.
EPI cannot give advice on immigration matters as it is not a Registered Canadian Immigration Consultant. EPI is prepared to provide the contact particulars of several consultants for the student to choose from if requested .
Unless authorized by an educational institution, EPI cannot make any representation or offer any guarantees about the likelihood of awards of financial aid or scholarships.
EPI is committed to providing its students with exceptional service and protecting their personal information is one of EPI’s highest priorities. EPI collects information from the students when they fill out an EPI Information Request Form; subscribe to the EPI newsletter; enter an EPI sponsored contest or register on one of EPI’s partner’s programs.
